Barnstaple Town’s Craig Allan has been named players’ player and manager’s play of the season.
The central defender, who signed from Paulton Rovers at the end of last season, scored the club’s first ever goal in the Southern League – an 85th-minute equaliser against Yate Town back on August 6.
Outgoing captain Aaron Harper-Penman was voted supporters’ player of the season at the club presentation evening on Friday night.
Shaun Copp was named most promising player and top scorer Ryan Turner was awarded the golden boot, with 18 goals scored in all competitions.
Dennis Folland and Keith Rowe were presented with club person of the season awards for their hard work maintaining the Mill Road pitch throughout the season.
They were also awarded the Barbara Jeffrey Memorial Award for the Club Supporter of the Year.
The club bid farewell to management team Barry Yeo and Karl Baggaley, in addition to retiring skipper Aaron Harper-Penman.
Yeo thanked everyone at the club for their support during his time as manager and wished his replacement, Richard Pears, good luck for next season
Chairman Jasmine Chesters thanked volunteers for their contribution to the continued success of the club.
