Barum beat Mangotsfield United 3-0 to end a run of four games without a win and move up to 19th in the league.
Mangotsfield have enjoyed good form since the two sides met in February, taking 14 points from a possible 21.
Kick-off at Cossham Street was pushed back to half an hour after the Barum bus got snared up in bank holiday traffic.
After a string of saves by Rob Holmes in the Barnstaple goal, it was the visitors who opened the scoring six minutes before the break through Mitch Thomas.
They doubled their lead midway through the second half through Nathan Cooper before Thomas bagged his second of the game with 15 minutes remaining.
