With the new season looming I thought that it would be helpful to give supporters information as what is to come and what has changed at the Club.
Many of the players who were with us last year will still be on the team but there will be some new names as well. So do come along and support them.
There are several “friendlies” already booked to be played at our grounds next month, and only one or two to be played away. Local teams that we are very pleased to be visiting us for a game are Braunton, Ilfracombe and Wellington. We also have teams from Boreham Wood, Plymouth and Exeter coming during July.
We all know that money to spend on luxuries (football isn’t really) is scare so we have kept the tickets prices as low as possible. Braunton, Ilfracombe and Wellington the tickets will be only £3 per game for Adults OAP’s £2 and children £1, the Exeter and Plymouth games will be £5 Adults, concession prices to include children under 16 will be £2. Boreham Wood tickets will be Adults £6 and concessions £3. We hope that this will encourage more people to join us for some super games.
Many of you have heard that our new Commercial Manager, Richard Edwards has set up a new lottery and you will have the chance to win £25,000 per week for just a £1 a line per week. Please join in as 50% comes directly back to the Club. This is really a good deal, and another way to support your Club. And talking of good deals have you bought your season ticket yet? Because of the good response we have had, we have decided to extend the time in which you can purchase a season ticket, this offer will close at the end of the Friendlies. But please remember that season tickets don’t cover admission to cup games.
There are still some dates for you to book a space to sponsor a game, or companies may wish to have an advertisement board on our grounds. If you are part of a company you could sponsor the half time draw where your business name and details will be printed on every ticket sold at games.
Southern League have put back the start of the season because of Cup Matches. It will now officially start on the 18th of August.
The dates of the Friendlies are the following:
